Layers of Gradient Network

Pervasive Connectivity Layer

A robust peer-to-peer connectivity layer that delivers essential infrastructure and real-time analytical insights that underpin the entire ecosystem.

Homogenized Computation Layer

Aggregate, abstract, and commoditize heterogeneous compute resources across varied granularities into one unified Homogenized Computation Layer accessible globally.

Adaptive Orchestration Layer

Intelligently orchestrate resource allocation using software-defined methods to maximize performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for compute tasks running on the platform.

Oracles and Settlement Layer

Powered by the unparalleled performance and user-friendliness of the Solana blockchain, alongside a dynamic on-chain ecosystem, we push the boundaries of Web3 mass adoption with mainstream compute innovations.

Participants of Gradient Network

Sentry Node

Sentry Nodes set the stage for Pervasive Connectivity – the first phase towards realizing our vision. By design, they are privacy-preserving, lightweight (<1MB data usage per month), and function efficiently with intermittent liveliness. They map global connectivity and play an important role in ensuring the liveness of computational resources.

Edge Host Pilot

In preparation for Homogenized Computation, we recently launched the Edge Host Pilot Program, inviting enterprises and individuals with powerful, high-availability compute resources to collaborate in shaping a decentralized future.

If you are:

  • A data center with idle or underutilized bandwidth or GPU resources, or

  • An individual contributor with powerful, high-availability compute resources,

We have already started contacting qualified participants for the next steps. Apply to be an Edge Host on Gradient Network here.

More Roles

Sentry Nodes are just the beginning of our journey, Stay tuned for more ways to contribute to the network.
