## POA Rewards

A Sentry Node receives **0.25 Points for every 10 minutes of Network Uptime**.

Peer-to-Peer connections are established periodically between two random, arbitrary Sentry Nodes to verify their connectivity. These ephemeral connections are called "Taps".  A Tap is successful when a Peer-to-Peer connection is successfully established.

A Tap will happen from time to time, and the success rate of Taps depends on a range of network factors such as your NAT type.

Both Sentry Nodes receive **0.75 Points for establishing a successful Tap.**
